Shands HealthCare developed Shands at Work to help local companies keep employees healthly by conveniently providing health promotion services. Shands at Work offers members reliable health information, education and preventative screenings at their work sites or other convenient locations.

Membership is free to local businesses in Gainesville, Lake City and Starke. Health seminars are free, but you may be asked to cover the costs of materials associated with certain seminars and screenings. Screenings cost approximately $10-$20 per participant.

Seminars and Screenings

Shands will work with your company to develop customized education and health screening programs for your employees. As part of a comprehensive healthcare network, Shands at Work is able to offer a wide range of seminar topics and health screenings. Seminars and screenings are available throughout the week during the day or in the evening. They can be conducted at the work site or another nearby location.
