SHANDS LIVE OAK COMPLETES EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT EXPANSION.
Shands Live Oak has doubled the size of its Emergency Department to accommodate the growing needs of Suwannee County and surrounding areas. The $1.9-million project includes a 3,200-square-foot addition to the southwest section of the hospital. The new area houses six exam rooms, a nurse station, a respiratory-therapy suite, expanded visitor waiting-room space, offices and a staff lounge. The six new beds are specially equipped to treat critical patients. |
