University of Florida Physician Specialty and Surgical Clinics
Nursing care involves patient assessment, assisting physicians with patient procedures, administration of medications, and patient education. Nursing staff are given yearly competencies, continuing education, and training sessions throughout the year to stay updated on procedures, medications, and therapy. UFP specialty clinics for both adults and pediatrics include pulmonary, rheumatology, immunology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, nephrology, post-renal transplant, liver failure and post-liver transplant, oncology, cardiology, dermatology, hematology, and neurology. UFP surgical clinics include general surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology (ENT), cardiovascular and cardiothoracic, trauma, urology, and plastic surgery. |
