Shands Children's Hospitals
Shands HealthCare’s pediatric services are focused in two locations: Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida and Shands Children’s Hospital at AGH. They offer north central Florida's only comprehensive pediatric programs that treat patients from throughout Florida and the U.S. UF physicians offer some of the most specialized pediatric programs for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of complex conditions. Programs include: the Congenital Heart Center at UF; critical care offered through our Level II and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Units, the ShandsCair neonatal emergency transport team, and our regional burn center; neurological care; bone marrow transplantation; organ transplantation including Florida’s only pediatric lung transplant program; surgery for a full range of conditions including congenital diaphragmatic hernia; and the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center. |
