Inpatient Acute Care
First, care begins with an in-depth assessment of a patient's condition. Then, a therapist develops a customized treatment program that is directed toward making meaningful, practical and sustained changes in a patient's ability to function. Goals for therapy are developed with the patient and/or family member and are focused toward maximizing functional independence, preventing further movement and function deficits, and maintaining health.
