Cancer and its treatments can create unique challenges for patients in terms of their functional level and well-being. Therapists working for Shands Rehab Centers work closely with patients and their medical team to assist patients in overcoming these challenges.

We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, and massage therapy services for patients experiencing problems associated with surgery or due to side effects of chemotherapy or radiation treatment. These services improve patients' level function, maintain an independent lifestyle, address fatigue, and improve quality of life.
