Radiology at Shands at UF
Responsible for supporting our entire 630-bed facility, the radiology department at Shands at the University of Florida offers a variety of services and the most advanced filmless technologies. Our radiologic technologists use a combination of computer and digital radiography equipment to provide care and diagnoses, while working in tandem with the support of rad tech assistants. Team members have the opportunity to rotate through fluoroscopy, OR, Level I trauma center emergency department and three outpatient centers. We encourage and expect our employees to continue learning and growing in their careers. Our status as an academic research hospital ensures that there is always a wide variety of educational opportunities available, as well as the chance to participate in and observe some of the most advanced techniques and procedures in medicine today. |
