Residency in Drug Information
The purpose of this program is to develop expert skills and competencies in all aspects of drug information. This goal is met by fulfilling objectives established by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. ProgramThere is one drug information resident position available to an eligible candidate. The resident will receive balanced instruction in service, education and research. Service includes:

The resident may spend up to three months in elective rotations. The resident will gain experience in established programs associated with drug information practice, such as the Investigational Drug Service. StipendThe resident receives a $42,500 stipend paid by Shands at UF. The stipend, coupled with the comparatively low cost of living in Gainesville, should ensure a financially sufficient year. BenefitsSelected and matched applicants will receive partial reimbursement for interview expenses, when accompanied by receipts, at the beginning of the residency year.
