| Emergency Department/Critical Care Center- Volunteers in the ER can expect to assist nurses & technicians with a variety of tasks associated with the ER. Volunteers are to be available to the staff as needed. Some clerical duties expected. |

| Operating Room - Volunteers are required to have a minimum of 60 volunteer hours with Shands prior to applying. Volunteers assist technicians in the OR. With permission, volunteers may be allowed in operating rooms during surgery. |
