Patients who know what to expect in a rehab program often have
the best recovery. When you have more information about what to expect in our rehab program,
you will be able to set more realistic goals for yourself.

The beginning
Once admitted, your physician works with you and the rehab therapists to determine your rehab
needs. Patients and physicians discuss and set realistic goals for recovery. Goals could include
returning to work after an injury or reestablishing the quality of life experienced before the injury.
These goals are shared with the family and healthcare team and may be revised to reflect your progress
and personal choices.

Most of the patient’s time is spent in the therapy gym. Patients receive one-on-one therapy for
three or more hours each day. Depending on the patient's goals, the patient works with:
- Occupational therapists
- Speech therapists
- Physical therapists
- Psychologists
- Recreational therapists

with therapists and nurses is scheduled with family members.
